In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, and saw that it was good. Then he created the stars and planets and was happy with his work. On the third day he created the wind and the rain. Then the moon and the sea. And finally, he created Norman Fell.

Not just a second rate character actor, as many believed, Fell was a symbol of hope for all two dimensional characters on television sitcoms.
And he had a wife, Our Lady of the Hot Flash, Mrs. Roper. And on his right hand sat Jack Tripper, and on his left - the high priestess' Janet and Chrissy. Then Chrissy begot Cindy, who begot Terri, but all was not well.
Because the networks, in their quest to confuse and currupt, aired the Ropers, but chose fools to write the scripts, and all hope seemed lost.
Then another arrived to disrupt the land and came to be known as the Anti-Fell, Mr. Furley.

Then Norman died, but miraculously, was resurrected and entered the annals of television history, when Three's Company went into syndication and was picked up by TBS.
