HEROES: So, Tot, you're writing Transformers: Chaos Reign for the Transformers Addendum, I take it? What can you tell use about it?
Totdoneta: It begins shortly after the alternate universe issue of Transformers #67, only three autobots are still alive; Jazz, Prowl, and Inferno. Cybertron no longer exists and thus the story takes place on Earth for the most part. The Decepticons currently control North and South America and have their eyes set on Europe and some of the countries in Asia. The main characters for the Deceps include: Bludgeon, Thunderwing, Shockwave, and all of the Targetmasters and Headmasters. Since this is the continuation of the comic, it will bear some resemblance to the original Transformer comic series.
H: How did you get the idea?
Tot: I got the idea after re-enacting #67 with my TF toys. After doing this, I thought it'd be cool to make up my own storyline on what might possibly happen after the issue.
H: How did you get into fanfic writing?
Tot: Well, writing has always been an interest of mine, I suppose I was inspired by the late Marvel comic "The Green Goblin" that lasted only 13 issues.
H: What was your first fanfic? Was it good and/or sucessful?
Tot: Actually, this is my first Transformer fanfic. My first fanfic of any kind was a continuation of the Green Goblin comic. I suppose it was successful although not too many read it. Those that did sent many positive comments.
H: Back to CR, who's going to be the cast/story/setting?
Tot: It is set on Earth, mostly in Europe circa 2009. The main characters include Jazz, Prowl, Inferno, and Spike. A few surprise characters may pop up from time to time.
H: So which timeline is this future saga part of?
Tot: It is actually a blend of the cartoon and the comic. What I want this to be is a combination of all the elements that made the Transformer saga so popular.
H: Is this a limited series or regular series?
Tot: Unless it gets super popular, It'll be a limited series.
H: Will there be an issue #0 as well for an issue of Heroes?
Tot: It really depends on how much people enjoy it. If the demand is there, I'll make the time to write it.
H: That's all the questions I can think of. Anything else?
