A Challenge has been issued! The gauntlet has been thrown! No longer will HEROES be the only kid on the block! Ladies and gentlemen, I give to you a NEW fanfiction magazine from someone else!

How's it going, Golden-Age buffs? Seems we're now to start an online magazine! No, not *just* for Golden Age Fanfiction...we will cover pulps, 'real' comics, comic strips...all about the Golden Age and the Platinum Age of comic books!
Not to mention the fact that this may rival HEROES.
See, Jason Kenney (EiC of HEROES) is on the List, and we've spoken about this before (albeit briefly), like a few months back, and he said something to the effect of something like "friendly competition". Now, I'm not looking to compete, really, but hey, what the hell?
See, the magazine will cover fanfiction as well. However, it will have articles on real comic books, comic strips, pulp magazines, novels, fanzines, and even include novellas and novelettes (science-fiction, that is), just like the pulps of old. This is truly an all-in-one magazine. Or rather, it will be.
(Now Jason, no stealing ideas here!) ;^)

PS: Oh yeah, and the motto of the 'zine will be "Keeping the bullshit to a minimum". Heh heh heh.
Okay, so this isn't really a FANFIC magazine like HEROES. Some of it will challenge us, like their coverage of the Golden Age groups, but otherwise, this is an online fanzine for Golden Age stuff, right?
So, the challenge has been issued, and I accept. Now, this is all friendly, I'm not out to destroy anyone or anything here. I'm really looking forward to this mag and might not mind seeing others (well, I might wet myself if it starts to hurt HEROES's coverage and all), but I see this not as a challenge to pummel someone, but as a challenge to do better.
And do better we have and shall!
