Age of Onslaught Fanfic Project http://www.geocities.com/b_vallely/age-of-onslaught.html
"After Magneto: The Age of Onslaught"
We've been up and running for about 6 months now (or somewhere near
there). Our original intention was to develop an alternate reality line
of fan-fic, within a finite period (6 months, actually!). We're still
going with that idea (the line's set to wrap up within the next month or
two, with the bookend AOO: Omega one-shot), but we're now considering
spinning off into a new alternate reality line after the AOO's
conclusion.
I'll not say *too* much about that just yet. Not wanting to spoil
anything.
On average, we get our titles out within about 1
month/2 months of the previous issue. There as some out there that're
running late, but that really can't be helped.
Because of the general premise of the group, all titles are Limited
Series or one-shots. At present we have 18 LSes on the go (three of
which have either wrapped up, or I have the final issues to be HTMLed),
and we've produced 4 one-shots, and have another 4 under development
(AOO: Omega, Power Pack, X-Terminators, and a Thunderbolts-esque
one-shot).
We also have a subscription service available (to which we have 37
independant subscribers). We also host weekly chats, where the readers
and our writers can get together and discuss the AOO.
Be sure to visit the site at the link above, and if you like what you
see, then feel free to subscribe to our new releases mailing list, and
receive every new issue straight into your inbox!
AOO fan Jason Jackson has been *so* enthusiatic about the Age of
Onslaught alternate timeline we've set up over these past few months
that he's taken it upon himself to start up his own independant AOO RPG
club!
The club can be found at this link below, and I'd once again like to
say "thanks" to Jason for helping to further spread the message of the
AOO (which is, "Don't kill Magneto, you dolt!").

Alternate Marvel is a fanfic group of people who set
out to tell stories about the Marvel Universe, if the events after
Onslaught changed drastically. On the Alternate Marvel list, you will
see series from writers who have decided to pick up the real series of
Marvel where they left off shortly after Onslaught.
We have no imprints. As we are just starting out, we want to lay the
groundwork for our regular continuity before breaking into other areas.
But that doesn't mean we're limiting ourselves to only one continuity
for long.
We are seeking to bring people a new level of fanfics, one with a
great standard of excellence. Our working schedule of release dates
fluctuates only slightly, and we promise to bring readers fanfics each
Friday night/Saturday morning.
A group/archive for all stories Dark Horse
related.
* Pendragon Imprint by Barry Reese:
Avengers 2000 has a imprint and his name is Barry
Reese! That's right, fan favorite Barry Reese has moved his Black
Knight, Union Jack and Pendragon material to AV2000 under the Pendragon
Imprint. Everything you miss from other fan fic groups - you can now
read HERE!
Cosmic Powers publishes fan fiction relating to
science fiction and fantasy characters from Marvel Comics and other
publishers. Stories are posted through Cosmic Powers Unlimited, a
webzine that publishes three times a month with around six new stories
each issue. Each storyline has its own continuity.
Stories are published within the Cosmic Powers
Unlimited webzine, occassionaly by itself, or as a Beyond Reality story
if it contains all original characters.
Current storylines include: War Waged At The Stroke Of
Midnight, Thanos: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Protectors of the Universe,
Powers Cosmic, Batman/Warlock: Soul Brothers, The Last Herald of
Galactus, Cosmic Treasure Hunt, Tales of the Timeless, Silver Surfer:
Tainting Eden, Silver Surfer: Sins of the Father, and War of the Blood
Gods!
Submit stories or feedback tocpufeedback@yahoo.com. Each
webzine story receives around 40-150 hits their first week of
publication with continuing visits after that. Cosmic Powers is
connected to the Silver Surfer Website and its mailing list of almost
1200 subscribers.
The revered Heroic Age from the twencen was a time of
great heroes, such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and many more.
Many of the historical records of their tales still exist in 2099,
although many are filled with holes, gaps and inconsistencies. More-so
are the ones about everything that happened at the end of the Heroic
Age, estimated to have happened sometime within the first-half of the
21st century, and so the final fate of the heroes is left a mystery.
Maybe there was some big event, maybe a tragedy, that befell the heroes
in their final days? No one really knows for sure.
Since then, however, the megacorporations of the world were slowly
able to take more and more control over society, through corporate wars
and whatnot, to where now, in 2099, they have near full control over
everything: the police, the media, people's jobs, etc. Everything is
geared towards the 2099 megacorps getting profit, and those that survive
in this harsh dystopia are those who maintain loyalty to and work for
the megacorps to that end, who are benefitted. Those that don't, or try
to make a stand against the megacorp rule, are outcasted, made poor and
homeless, and totally cut off from the necessities of life. For those
who live like that, and even those that do work for the megacorps
reluctantly, the only hope and inspiration they can believe in are the
heroes of old, believing those legends will one day miraculously return
and bring down the gods of industry and nation...
In come the new heroes for a new age, a new, 2099-style Heroic Age,
totally disconnected from the original and it's heroes. Many hiding
their identities to protect their alter-egos from megacorp persecution,
these new heroes are either future-incarnations of old twencen heroes
and teams, or totally original altogether. Some even cyberspace-based,
doing good with what is now a fully 3D realm where people commune and
converse, and in a more cybernetic way. Many of these new heroes will
work towards bringing about a non-corp-ruled society, many each in their
own individual ways. Whatever they are, they will begin what will become
the next Heroic Age...DC 2099!!!
DC 2099 will start off its Reboot in Summer 2001, with the titles:
Superman 2099, Batman 2099, Superboy 2099, Titans 2099, and some others
that're not quite confirmed on what they'll truly be called.
DC 2099 is still looking for more writers, editors, and even artists
to render our characters and logos. If you have an idea for yet another
DC 2099 series, would like to help with the editing of the issues,
and/or would like to draw logos and pics for us, or do anything else
that is helpful, just e-mail me (HotRod2316@hotmail.com) and let
me know!

DCFS - Men of the Stars. A Superman searching for his
humanity. A Sandman guarding against the night. The mantle of a bat no
one has lived up to till now. Fearless fliers stepping out into the
unknown. A journalist finding his place in the world. A conspiracy that
destroys lives and creates heroes. A man who wants to know your secrets.
These are the champions of the new World. Welcome to Utopia. Welcome to
the DC FUTURE SHOCK.
DCFS has it’s own message board and we encourage interested new
writers to talk to us about possible new props. Any of the staff can
give you pointers as to what areas we are currently seeking new titles
in.
We’re also a very friendly group to talk to and are actively working
with new writers to improve and flourish.
DC Knights is a fan fiction site that allows you to
tell whatever story you want to do regarding DC characters. There's no
dibs list or continuity breakpoint.
There are no imprints, but the stories are divided into
Vertigo, Wildstorm, ABC, whatever.
I am looking for people who want to write any (and I
mean any) story, contact me.
Thank you.

DC/Marvel: The Merging tells stories about a universe
in which the DC and Marvel characters coexist.
DCM doesn't have
imprints, per se, but books that take place in the 1940s are put into a
special section called "The Golden Age".
December is Young
Justice Month. LOSERS WEEK is coming in December.
We are looking
for more writers and artists. There are a lot of series that could use
writers. Artists are needed to draw up character designs.
In the year 2000, a being by the name of the High
Evolutionary planned to rid the world of mutants. To save the world. By
taking away their abilities. But he was just an unknowing puppet.
Sinister had been pulling the strings behind the High
Evolutionary's plans since the beginning, and intended to gain absolute
power. To destroy the world. That was until the X-Men interfered.
It's 2 years later. Welcome, to the future..
Hello. This is Will Short, writer of various fanfics and
now EiC and author at the new DC fanfic site, JLU 2001 (http://www.geocities.com/jlu_012000).
Here's the basic deal.
This universe, the "Justice League
Universe", is based initially off of the seven core JLA members
(Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and
Martian Manhunter). They each have their own ongoing title, as well as
one for JLA. Continuity begins after JLA #4 (with a few exceptions -
Superman has already cut his hair and been married, in our verision).
Our goal is to tell respectable, original stories with well-known
classic characters in a JLA-centered universe. We currenly have writers
for the following books:
* "Aquaman" - Michael Exner III *
"Batman" - Steve Crosby ("Kree Corps" and "X-Men" at MV1) *
"Elseworlds Presents" - anthology title beginning with Dino Pollard
("X-Men Omega" and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" at M2K) for the first
arc; always looking for writers * "Flash" - Bill Kte'pi (of many a
project) * "Green Lantern" - Russ Anderson ("Silver Surfer" and
"Champions" at MV1, "Iron Man" at M2K) * "JLA" - Will Short ("Doctor
Strange" and "Thor" at MV1, "Avengers" at M2K) * "Martian Manhunter"
- Mike Hintze ("JSA" and "Wonder Woman" at Faux DC, "Captain Marvel" at
Avengers 2000) * "Showcase" - anthology title beginning with an Atom
story by Will Short and a Crisis-related arc by James Hickson (MV1
anthology work); always looking for writers * "Superman" - Dino
Pollard (again)
-----------------------------------
Think
of this: In the past few weeks we've managed to officially launch the
site as well as put out six premiere issues, including Green Lantern,
Superman, and JLA!
We have decided that, because of our lack of
interest and feedback to someone writing the WONDER WOMAN series, it
will be removed from the main titles page to be written by someone at a
later date.
In light of the last announcement, JLU 2001 will
begin accepting new ongoings on a case-by-case basis. Writers must "try
out" both themselves and their characters in Showcase before bringing
them to mini or ongoing series. All interested writers should consult
the Site Guidelines before sending in ideas/proposals. Anyone interested
should contact me, Will Short the Founder and EiC, at WeekapaugB@aol.com
-The
first new ongoing series will be a JLU: Vertigo creator-owned series
originally published at Faux DC, HOUSE OF MAGIC, which is written by
founder and EiC Will Short.
Come visit all this, join our
mailing list, post on our message board, take popsicles from our
freezer, and more today at:
http://www.geocities.com/jlu_012000
We're
just getting started. We WILL invade your home. You WILL submit. It's
only a matter of time...

Marvel 1 is not a funky alternate reality,
beyond that we diverge roughly three months after the real Marvel's
January 2000 issues. We have no key divergent event, or problem we
fixed. We quite simply take the MU as it was when our tales start --
and write the best damn stories we can.
WE AIN'T DEAD!
Marvel 2000 released its first #1 issues in January of 2000. At
first, it seemed just like another fanfic group that wouldn't last
long. However, our prompt schedule and great titles combined with
amazing writers have made us last for this long, and we plan on
staying for awhile. It follows a principle similar to Marvel-X or MV1,
where writers turn out issues of a certain title each
month.
Marvel 2000 is going through a change in the EiC
position, with Russ Anderson and Will Short, both great writers,
taking on co-EiC duties.
Now, for the new releases!

Massachusettes Academy! By Mikey G. * Apocalypse - Ageless Fury #8:

Nick Fury. By David Wheatley. * X-Force #5: The team finds what
they were searching for in Canada--and ends up regretting it!! By Jay

EiC of Marvel: 2015
Marvel Dark Lore is a Fanfic Project dedicated to producing
stories revolving around the dark, the mystic and the urban aspect of
the Marvel Universe.
Coming up next:
Alex Maggi writes
an intracompany crossover with his titles (Defender, Dr. Strange and
Hellstorm), a surefire thrill-ride called 'The End Times"
Francisco da Costa and Bob Gansler prepare a new project,
tentatively called REUNION OF THE SNAKE -- the preludes are already
starting to pop up (Strange Tales 9, Midnight Sons 8, Strange Tales
10).
The World is on the verge of collapse. The seemingly immortal Doom
reigns over what was Asia and Russia. Across the ocean, the Americas
stand united under the guidance and protection of the Avengers. In the
middle sits a fractured Europe awaiting a king's return. Out of the
corner of your eye is the growing, electronic world of Cyberspace.
Welcome to a brave, new world. A world of manic blazing visions of
utopia or hangover induced nightmares of Hell. Welcome to the new
tomorrow. Prepare yourself for a MARVEL FUTURE SHOCK.
MFS has
regions rather than imprints. Latveria and Asia, Europe, Space and
America.
MFS is in the midst of concluding its first crossover
– Paradise Lost. New York is under Doom’s control, with Spiderman and
the escaped Spiderwoman, Ruth Parker, in the midst of the resistance.
In Europe Germany has been surrounded by a mystical forcefield and a
very old danger is heading straight towards a depleted Latveria. This
will all conclude in DOOM: PARADISE LOST, which will see a new status
quo in place for the world and in particular the supernatural
elements, with guest stars and surprises galore. No one will be able
to predict exactly what is going to happen.
Following that the
titles deal with the outcome of the crossover as Robin Sutton returns
to Spiderman with a bang. The end of Paradise Lost will also see the
start of new ongoings including Ghost Rider by Joseph McCormick IV,
Mandarin and Avengers America by Matt Pierce.
In Excalibur you
will see the first proper team of the title form, which will have
disastrous consequences for the heroes. Thunderbolts’ first issue post
PL sees the creation of a whole new city in two weeks. A city big
enough to easily support 20,000 people. X Men Underground sees the X
Men heading towards some devastating revelations and more clashes with
the Servants of Apocalypse. All this plus a possible new Black Panther
title and some old favourites returning. If you’re not reading Future
Shock you’re living in the past.
MFS has it's own message
board and we encourage interested new writers to talk to us about
possible new props. Any of the staff can give you pointers as to what
areas we are currently seeking new titles in.
We’re also a
very friendly group to talk to and are actively working with new
writers to improve and flourish.
This site is dedicated to taking Marvel Comics titles and making
them current. We will be taking some of the worlds favorite Marvel
Comics and writing them as if they started now in the present day.
Eventually we hope to have an Ultimate title for most of the Marvel
Comics titles that are out there today. It is our hope that we can
take you on a new and original ride with some of the most popular
characters around, we also plan to take those characters that aren't
so popular and make them as popular as those titles that are popular.
So keep checking back to see where we take the titles and what titles
we start.
Also, we are always looking for readers and writers.

Welcome to MARVEL: REDUX, a fan-fiction website dedicated to
Marvel comics. While a lot of fan fiction sites that I've read - and
participated in - take place in Marvel or DC's future, largely removed
from continuity, this site will be firmly rooted in Marvel's "present
day".
Sort of.
The main objective of this site is to
return to the sense of fun and creativity that was abundant in the
early days of Marvel, up through to the 1980s. This "fun" seemed to
slumber for the majority of the 1990s as the comics industry seemed to
replace creativity with sheer numbers and gimmicks. And so, while this
site is rooted in Marvel's "present day", it will be a "present day"
somewhat different from that in the Marvel Universe on the newstands.
Which brings us to the title of this site. Why "redux"? While
the basis of this fanfiction site will not shred Marvel's 40-plus year
history, there ARE some events in the past decade (sometimes further
back than that) that have tarnished the iconoclastic nature of
Marvel's heroes. Rather than give away the details, I'll recommend
that you read the MARVEL: REDUX one-shot!
I'd love to have you
assist in re-imagineering the Marvel Universe. If you are interested
or have input, feel free to contact me, Dave Whiteley.
Well, Marvel Universe: Transformed is still active despite the EIC
{that would be me..KV} forgetting to post to the HEROES list.
Marvel Universe: Transformed is going through a partial
reboot. Three titles will be renamed, and two new titles are being
added.
Titles due to be renamed: Cable, NeoKnights, and
Spider-Man.
Cable will be Cable/X-Force X-Force will come in as
a permanent support cast for Cable, hopefully providing more depth to
Cable's character.
The NeoKnights title will be put on hiatus
with Helrazers taking it's place. Helrazers is a mirror version of
Avengers. And, as the name suggests it is led by Hela. Wrecker,
Titania, Dreadknight, Juggernaut, and Hela (of course) are set to be
the players for this team.
Spider-Man will change to Omega-18.
Omega 18 may be considered an "X-Force" version of Avengers.
Spider-Man forms a team. The rhymes and reasons will spoil plots yet
to come, but let's just say if Spider-Man is forced to form a team
something big is happening. Players to be named
later...
Finally, two more titles to explore the depths of
the MUTF realm:
Ghost Rider: Avenging Spirit will follow the
adventures of Avenger's Vision, who has recently become the newest
Spirit of Vengeance! First order of business will be to find out
exactly which Spirit that is.
Astonishing X-Men will follow the
path of mutants that were used by Cerebro to make a solid hologram
wannabe's of the X-Men (shown in Hunt For Xavier). Now, they are
forced together and set out to prove there is no similarity to their
hollow counterparts or the X-men they represented.
Rumors:
There's no buzz to really release yet, so I'd like to add that this is
the time to send in any props or ideas you might have to make MUTF
better:)
MV1's Adventure Branch is more than proud to present the return of
one of the best series at MV1:
CRUSADERS!
Crusaders:
Shadow #17 and #18 finish the dark, mature-readers series, while
Crusaders: Millenium #0 ushers in a new era of greatness for the UK's
most prominent Super-Heroes.
But that's not all!
If you
are an old-time Crusaders fan you'll recall that several issues were
plagued by a few minor problems. Well, fear no more! These issues have
been corrected, so that for the first time you can enjoy the whole
Crusaders experience.
And if you're someone who hasn't read
Crusaders yet, what are you waiting for? A Cyberback collection you
say? Well, wait no more! The first of the Essential Crusaders is
here!
So, go and enjoy this glorious day in which Crusaders,
and Neil Gow have returned!
In preparation for our imminent launch, M: Y2 presents a special
sneak preview of the Fantastic Four #1, Captain America #0, X-Men #0,
and Excalibur #0!
And, coming soon, the Avengers by Matt
Pierce, the Hulk by Trevor Carrington and Paul Gregoire, Daredevil by
Thomas Deja, Iron Man by Matt Pierce, and Spider-Man by Trevor
Carrington.
I'd really like to get Medieval DC back up and
running. I've been getting a surplus of ideas on how to make the group
better. If anyone is interested then please e-mail me at
the_only_ace@hotmail.com.
Les "Lex" Chaon
This is a group based around the concept that a powerful alien
race recreated the Age of Apocalypse.
We hit a snag last
month when our webmaster resigned, but now we've got new blood, a new
look, a new site, and new issues!
Links are being tweaked as we
go, so you might have to go through different pages to get an item
(for example, the link to Thunderbolts #1 is different on the title
page from the archive page- the archive page is right).
New
Issues: * Incredible X-Men #5: Blink, Angelo and Jubilee face
Synch! By Tony Thornley * Thunderbolts #1: The coolest new AoA2
series begins! By Tony Thornley
On the way is X-Ternals #1,
Element-X #4, Moonstar #2, the entire Deadpool LS, X-Terminators #5,
Black Panther #1 and Spider-Man #2!
Also, recent writer
resignations have left the Fantastic Four and the Avengers series
open, and Spider-Man will be available after #2. If you're interested
in these or any other series contact me and my AEiCs (Benn Vallely and
Jono Pizzaro) for more info.
And lastly, there's an upcoming
association with the coolest group on the web- Age of
Onslaught - and the Second Age of Apocalypse. More on that as it
develops!
This site appears to have ceased publication.
In 2049 Earth is in the grasp of Stormwatch's iron fist. In this
world it can be a struggle just to survie, let alone find your own
way. This is the world of Unlimited Images, where the only limits are
your imagination.
The Valiant Fanfic Association is a loose collection of friends
and fellow writers who are interested in continuing the late, great
Valiant Universe. Our group of fanfiction titles are not related in
any way to the "second" Valiant Universe, which was published by
Acclaim from 1997-'99. We deal only with the original Valiant heroes
and settings.
The Valiant Fanfic Association has been busy as
of late, with the addition of a new Imprint, HARBINGER WARS. This
imprint will be overseen by Michael Sacal. The imprint is set in a
future timeline which is set apart from standard VFA continuity. To
kick off the imprint, we have the Rogue T.I.M.E. Vaulter crossover,
spanning Valiant history.
In the update :
Rogue
T.I.M.E. Vaulter # 1 - Timewalker by Michael Sacal Rogue T.I.M.E.
Vaulter # 2 - X-O Manowar by Barry Reese
And, in the stanard
VFA imprint : X-O Manowar # 81 byBarry Reese
The VFA is also
sad to announce that Keith Ehrich, writer of Team Harbinger, has
elected to leave the project due to creative conflicts. We're sad to
see Keith go and hope that he'll continue his TH series elsewhere. As
per his request, Team Harbinger # 0-7 have been removed from the
site.
Plus, the VFA welcomes back MIKE HINTZE, who will helm
the new ETERNAL WARRIOR series! Mike was a member of the old V1F group
and is widely regarded as one of the big talents in group fanfic!
We're still committed to getting at least parts of VISIONS back on
it's feet. We now have a pretty much up to date website at Shifting
Sands, and we're working hard on catching up on X-Men Gold and Blue as
well as bugging Cloud to get going on Gen. X again. Have faith, we'll
be back.
