There was no song,
The words were wrong,
You were here,
But there was no music,

The day was bright,
And moonlit nights,
Seemed to appear,
But there was no music,

Our love felt like a flame,
But ice laid a claim on our hearts,
You, with sighs soft as a dove,
Through the words of love tore me apart,

Now it is clear,
Now you're not here,
The sound is a deafening squall,
Your words ended, silence has gone,
And my life has carried on,
No, there never was any music with you at all.
