Satellites can now be used for reconnaissance and relay information all over the world. Laser weapons are even more accurate and powerful than any of its predecessors. Weapons are being launched from outer space. These are just some of the new forms of weaponry that will become more widespread as we look towards the 21^st century. A space station has been in orbit for over eighteen years now and another is in the process of being created. Some day military bases may be placed on other planets. Who knows what the future holds? Within 50 years, there may be galactic wars and battles between spaceships.
