History Day

Throughout history, wars have changed the landscape of our planet. They have distinguished the strong amongst the weak. Usually the victors had powerful leaders, an incredibly disciplined army or had even have gotten lucky. Even with all these aspects, the most important element to be triumphant was great weaponry. As history has progressed, there has always been a demand for bigger, better, more powerful weaponry. Thus, the person who carried the stronger weapon most likely would win in a battle. No age contributed more to the development of weapons than that of the 20th century. With the introduction and invention of the tank and poison gas along with the advancement of the machine gun, the way we fight wars has over gone a remarkable transformation.
