| "El Capitán Marvel", Año I, Nº10, July 1953. Published by "Ediciones Recreativas", Mexico, Spanish Edition of "Captain Marvel Adventures", from Fawcett Publications, U.S.A. Arriving to the last stage of its run (it will be abruptelly discontinued with Nº16), the magazine still maintained the fresh, genial approach sustained by the character's creator, Charles Clarence Beck, and is a truly enjoyable comic stuff besides making a coveted collector's item. Its contents: 4 Captain Marvel Adventures: "Monster Chase"; "The Man in the Moon", with the (benign) scientific character "Dr. Cuarzo"; "The Vengeful Bindweed" and "Human Hawks". Also: humor fillers: "Alcornoque"; "Capi Kid" and "El Tacaño Tadeo". Unfortunatelly, the lovable arch-villain, Sivana is nowhere to be seen in this particular issue. (I'm sorry I translated all titles by mere guess; also, I don't know how the humurous characters were originally called, so I used Spanish names.) | ||
