Alexey Gavrichkov was born in 1937. Graduated the Architectural facultee of Academy of Arts (St.-Petersburg) in 1961. He is the Doctor of architecture, professor of St.-Petersburg's Academy of Arts, the member of Union of Russian Artists and Union of Architects. As graph-artist Alexey Gavrichkov exhibites his works from 1970. Since that time he took part in more than 80 exhibitions in St.-Petersburg, USSR and in foreign countries. There were 20 his personal exhibitions in Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest, Hungary; in St.-Petersburg: in Academy of Arts, in House of Scientists, in House of Composers and in others exhibition halls. The works of Alexey Gavrichkov are in museums and private collections in Russia and abroad: in St.-Petersburg (The Museum of Academy of Arts, The Public Library of Saltykov-Shchedrin, The Museum of the Sculpture of Sity), in The National Gallery of Armenia in Erevan, in Art Museum in Bryansk and others. In foreign countries the etchings of Alexey Gavrichkov are in collections of: world-wide famous pianist Emile Gorvitz, consul-general of USA in St.-Petersburg, Marienhof's family in France, and also in private collections in Germany, Sweden, England, Netherlands, Italy, Hungaria. |
