Natalya KORNILOVA

Natalya Kornilova was born in 1952 in Leningrad (Saint-Petersburg). She graduated the Graphic facultee of Academy of Art in St.-Petersburg. She is a member of Union of Russian Artists.

The main direction of the creative work of the painter is the easel graphic. She works in techniques of colour etching, lithography, linocut, and water-colour.

One of the leading sphere of the artistic explorations of the painter is the creation of the figure decorative compositions on the themes of literary classic and theater. These are bright and vivid fancy-dress reflection in different techniques - water-colours, monotype, oil-painting, in which the objective reality of the external world transforms in phantasmagoria.

Natalya Kornilova is the regular participant of different exhibitions, which take place in Russia and abroad. The works of this painer are in such museums and collections as: The Russian National Library, The Museum-Flat of A.S.Pushkin in St.-Petersburg, The State Museum of Russian Literature in St.-Petersburg, The State Tretyakov's Gallery in Moscow, The Dresden Gallery, The Gallery "Cesar" (Sweden), The Gallery "Konsthornan" (Sweden) etc.
