Oleg TATARNIKOV

Oleg Tatarnikov was born in 1937 in Leningrad, USSR in the family of the painter George Tatarnikov. His first years of life fell on the years of The II World War (1939 - 1945) and the blockade of Leningrad.

From 1949 till 1956 Oleg Tatarnikov studied at the Secondary Art School in Leningrad. From 1956 till 1962 he studied at the Institute of Art, Sculpture and Architecture of I.E.Repin (Leningrad). He graduated the studio of monumental painting.

From 1964 Tatarnikov is a member of the Artist's Union of the USSR. He works in different genres in techniques oil and pastel.

His works are in various museums and private collections of Russia and of other countries.
