Death in Moonlight
(Purnimar Moydhe Mritthu)

One day, the moon will not rise, he mornings and afternoons
Will be constant in a symptom of death;
One day, darkness will be a close friend all day long,
One day, the sun will not rise all the day.

One day, I will not go to the saloon for a haircut
One day, dust will hide these sleepless eyes.
One day, this black tresses will slip away,
The gardenia will not bloom at all.

One day, the population of this town will fall short,
Purchasing a train ticket,
A man will not return to greenery in his village.
One day, I will be defeated.

One day, I will not go anywhere, you or someone else
Will grow old in nothingness.
One day, realizing that you are beyond my control,
I will commit suicide in a moonlit night.

One day, I will not go anywhere all day long.
