Tender

Truth to tell,it happened in Nicaragua
during the rule of El Prsidente Samoza
the mighty martial leadersrndered a tender
  for caps, uniforms and boots.
The order for the supply went to a contractor
  who had quotedthe lowest cost
  even an idiot kknows
  this the rule.

After the piles of caps, uniforms, boots
  were supplied everyone saw-
all of them were far too large
one cap could cover the seven heads
  would covr the whole face, coming down the shoulders;
  even after three healthy recruits
  get into a uniform
there is still room for more
the boots are so large that
it is hard to walk in them
  let alone do the drills.

The poor contractor was not to blame
he is always looking for a profts
  clothes and leather
the less he spends on these the more he profits
  but the military rulers, seeing
  the turn of events
  were truly pissed off
like a b urning hot sstengun.

  So again a tender
  a new c ontrac tor
  how strange this time too
  the rpition of the same.
  Caps, uniforms and boots
  are way to large
  while the contrac tortriedhis best
to supply the items as per measurements
so as to cover his own ass.
  Thundering like cannonades
the warlords kocked oout the c ontractor
  unc eremoniously from the barracks.
  Again a new tender
  again a new contracto
  and amazingly
  again the repition
  of the same
  again and again
the mighty Generals at their wits end.
