The Frog and His Bird (Tricoo)
by Roger L. Bagula 30 July 2001©

Damp frog on moss covered rock
Floating lily pond
Living with the loneliness

On his long legs standing there
The crane appears wise
His fast strike impales the frog

For tomorrow after work
Mocking bird does frog
I am a homing pigeon

Teaching words to behave,
Teaching words to believe
by Roger L. Bagula 30 July 2001 ©

beat up those words
make them behave
recalcitrant forever
try rewards psychology
on twisted thoughts
young naive ones
wild and new born ones
use foolish tricks
or slight of hand magic
and without warning
the sentence rebels
Simple words simply said
Set to music
of a new reality
