Where are you?
For I have searched for you in ever
so many faces.
Where are you?
For I have looked for you in ever
so many places.
I've dreamed about you so very long
And thought about you with each love song.
I've always hoped you'd be somewhere
but haven't found you anywhere.
Have we through a glance ever wanted to meet
and then decided not to try?
Were we by chance afraid to speak
and afterward wondered why?
Have we known each other once before
and let each other slip away?
Will we know each other again once more
Sometime, somplace, someday?
Are we looking so hard we just can't see
that we know each other now?
Are we trying so hard to find what can be
that we're missing each other somehow?
Where have you been throughout the years,
wherever did you go?
Where have you been throughout the tears,
and did you ever know
how many times I wanted you
and how much I wanted to share?
how many times I needed you
and how much I needed to care?
Where are you?
for I have searched for you by every
clock that chimes.
Where are you?
for I have looked for you so many,
many times.
Wherever I go, whatever I do
It seems I am always looking for you.
Where are you? Wherever can you be?
