Carte-de-Visite Photographs - Rutty Album

This small collection of cartes came from the remains of a small damaged album that once belonged to Mary Rutty (1860s-1870s). Missing from the album is a photo of Mr Birket Foster, the artist, brother of Mr Dodsham Foster & brother in law of his wife Mary Anne Rutty (see Myles Birket Foster 1825-1899 in Biographical Dictionaries)

Other families here are the Marshall, Vearney (Verey), Penny, Groome, Lucas and Wheeler. Mrs Penny lived at Poole Dorset, U.K. and the Rev John Rutty lived from 1841-1938.
