 General information about our rings:

What we expect of Ring Members: 

Your webpage tells other members and the web community about who you are and what you believe in.  Not everyone has a webpage, and while that was a requirement of membership in The Spiritual Sanctuary, it no longer is. If you don't have a website and would like one, we create sites for our members.  After becoming a member, fill in the Pagemaking form, and we would be happy to create a site for you! 

 If you already have a website and would like to join one of our rings, even if you don't want to commit to becoming a member,  that would be a wonderful way of sharing your interest in spirituality with us and the rest of the world. 

You may like to browse our Homepage, Philosophy, Membership page and Membership form before joining one of our rings. So that you understand what The Spiritual Sanctuary is all about. 

 While we do not mean to set judgement, we want to set the boundary that no page should be offensive to other members, so perhaps think along the PG-13 guidelines... ok? Your page can be commercial or personal, but we cannot be in any way responsible for commercial sites.

 All website submissions will be reviewed for acceptability in our organization. Don't even bother to submit an application if the site has anything to do with hate or violence or condemning one religious belief over another.

 

The  Spiritual Sanctuary Ring is dedicated to interspirituality and sharing of spiritual values amongst all people of all faith backgrounds. 

There are a few requirements to becoming a member of this ring:

  • It must have something to do with spirituality

  • It may NOT put down other  religious beliefs.

  • It may not be a list of links only. 

  • It must be maintained.

If you are already a member of this ring, and wish to Edit your site information, I figured out that if you go to the join button on the ring, and scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see a view ring link.  When you view the sites in the ring, you will see your own.  There is a link in that entry that says Edit.  Using that link will allow you to edit your site.  If that's too confusing, 

email me.

I wanted to get rid of the Spiritual Sanctuary ring on Webring, but some members wanted to keep it... so it stays.  

If you want to participate in this webring you need to know:

Individual HTML tags are not useable on the Yahoo Ring any longer.

To see how the  Yahoo fragment looks on the page, visit here notice that you will have all webrings on your fragment... as they are all hooked together.  You can't separate them, although you can, at the Yahoo site, reorder them. 

If you are already a member and want to EDIT your webring information 

ie/ you moved your site 

To EDIT your Spiritual Sanctuary webring graphic, go to Yahoo/Webring and sign in. When you sign in you will get a screen where you can select any ring you belong to called "My Rings" next to which there is a little button that says "Edit" .  Go there. You will see a list, that hopefully includes the Spiritual Sanctuary. It will list your webrings, what page/site you have the ring on and gives you the choice to manage, edit or leave the ring.  (If you have gone through all this to be a part of us, PLEASE don't leave the ring!!! I will be really sad to see you go! )
