Why do the wicked at Walt Disney studios despise all that is good?Dear faithful Friend and Supporter: Be careful when you buy children's videos from Disney. According to the 800,000-member American Life League, The Little Mermaid is swimming in pornography, erotica is hidden in The Lion King and a lascivious whisperer in Aladdin urges teens to remove their clothing. Furthermore, a Donald Duck video has the cartoon character throwing one of
his usual tantrums - but this time yelling "F----- you!" clearly enough that
Wal-Marts nationwide have been ordered to yank the video from their shelves. "I have
no idea what Disney chief Michael Eisner thinks he's doing. I have no way of knowing what
their plan is for our kids. But they're making a fortune and these cartoons are filled
with sexual imagery. A lot of young mothers are very, very upset," said Judie Brown,
president of the American Life League. "Disney always has been associated with family
values. I don't think we can say that anymore," said Southern Baptist president, the
Rev. Tom Elliff, had said a day before 19,000 Southern Baptist Convention delegates
meeting in New Orleans voted for a total boycott of Disney products. Furthermore, homosexuality is an underlying theme of the entire movie - according to Disney statements. It first came out when homosexual groups claimed that The Lion King was anti-homosexual because of a line in which the unmarried and narcissistic brother of the king, Uncle Scar, is talking with the little crown prince, Simba. "Oh, Uncle Scar, you are so weird," says the little lion. Rolling his eyes, "You have no idea," groans the pretentious uncle. Then homosexual activists objected that this made fun of homosexuals, the Disney Company quickly brought into the spotlight the two actors who portray a male couple in the movie - of a warthog and a meercat. Amid enormous publicity, the Disney Company revealed that the actors are homosexual and that they had a lot of fun portraying the male couple in the film. "Simba the lovable lion is not the only Disney character with sex on his mind," reports the British news agency Reuters. "In The Little Mermaid, for instance, a minister at a wedding ceremony shows signs of 'obvious sexual arousal,' and in the immensely profitable Aladdin a voice can be heard whispering: 'Good teenagers, take off your clothes.' Arch Campbell, a film critic for an NBC-TV affiliate in Washington, said he had watched the African jungle saga and agreed with its Christian critics: the word SEX is clearly spelled out. "It's there all right, but I think it's a joke." He said it was just the latest in a long tradition of subliminal erotic or scatological references in Disney films. Movie industry magazines such as Cinefantastique say a close viewing of Disney's laser-disc version of Who Framed Roger Rabbit includes images of frontal nudity. In that same film, graffiti spells out Disney boss Michael Eisner's home phone number as that of a brothel run by "Allyson Wonderland." How can this be happening? "Disney's move is one of the first big attempts by a major corporation to cash in on the New Age movement at a time when spiritual manifestos are crowding bestseller lists and workshops are jammed," reports Journal reporter Eben Shapiro. The New Age Movement continues to quietly gain momentum, and now, we are
at a place where we can no longer trust the innocence of an American institution like
Disney, and Mickey Mouse. Why would Disney powers jump on to the New Age bandwagon? I can
think of two possible reasons: (2) INFLUENCE. If we were to look into this, and do some investigating, we might discover that some of the young executives who were part of this decision were sent to a New Age training seminar for management; or, they've been reading the New Age books, or going to a New Age therapists. But whatever the reasons, let the buyer (and parents) beware: the next
time you go to Orlando, Mickey may tell you about his past life, or whisper his mantra in
your ear. Remember the biblical response. "But to us there is but one God, of whom
are all And now, we see the Walt Disney Company - once a paragon of virtue and a source of national pride - recently announced that it will soon begin offering health coverage benefits to the live-in partners of gay and lesbian employees. Curiously, however, unmarried heterosexual partners are excluded from the policy. The company that brought us Mickey Mouse and Cinderella thus endorses homosexual live-in partners, but not hetereosexual. Because of Disney's status, conservative activists now fear that other companies may soon follow suit. "With the understanding that the homosexual agenda has penetrated Hollywood, it should come as no surprise that Disney now supports anti-family values," laments the Rev. Louis Sheldon of the Traditional Values Coalition. And the Southern Baptists have had enough. Delegates to the Southern Baptist Convention's annual meeting have approved a boycott of Walt Disney Company movies, theme parks and products, saying the entertainment giant is "anti-family." "Delegates to the Southern Baptist Convention, the governing body for America's largest Protestant group, voted to ask its 15.6 million members to boycott Walt Disney Co.'s products and theme parks for allegedly disparaging Christian values," reported Reuters. "The 19,000 Baptists attending the meeting in New Orleans originally were expected to only criticize the Disney corporation," reported United Press International, "but instead adopted a stronger measure calling for a boycott of theme parks, movies and other products." "This is all related to what we consider to be the anti-family values
of the Disney company both with its employees and its movies," convention spokesman
Herb Hollinger said. The organization's Resolutions Committee had not called for a
boycott, but that action was taken after delegates were urged to do so by a California
minister who lives near Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif. Delegates said they were
particularly offended by Disney extending employee benefits to gay couples and unmarried
heterosexuals. They also objected to a Gay and Lesbian Day at Walt Through its subsidiary Hyperion, Disney has published Lettin' It All Hang Out, written by RuPaul, a well-known "drag queen" entertainer. Last June Hyperion published a book written by three homosexual comedians and aimed at "gay youngsters who were bred by heterosexuals." In addition, the December, 1995, issue of Harper's Magazine reports that Hyperion is planning to publish a book by author Daniel Harris about "gay culture." "Disney is becoming more bold in its promotion of the homosexual agenda," said Donald E. Wildmon, president of the American Family Association. "More and more families are waking up to the fact that Disney is using its huge influence with America's children and families to suggest that dangerous, perverted sexual behavior is OK." An article - entitled "Disney Comes Out of the Closet" - in Los Angeles magazine last May reported that a homosexual rights activist said that she was once told by Disney chairman Michael Eisner that "as many as 40 percent of the company's 63,000 employees might be gay." The article also named a number of openly homosexual Disney executives, and said that Disney has the "largest lesbian and gay employees organization in the entertainment industry...." AFA said that the use of the "F word" by Donald Duck in a children's cartoon is "very ck humor" and that the cartoon should be pulled by the Walt Disney Company. "That Disney would promote this kind of language to small children is very sick," said Donald E. Wildmon, president of AFA. WDIV-TV reporter Emory King in Detroit first broke the story of the popular Disney cartoon character using profanity. Wildmon said he did not believe the story until AFA secured a video and listened to the dialogue. Wal-Mart, the nation's largest retailer, has already pulled the video. Wildmon said that the cartoon is part of the Walt Disney Cartoon Classics series entitled "Fun On the Job." The particular segment where the profanity occurs is entitled "Clock Cleaners." When the clock Donald Duck is working on comes to life and begins to taunt him, the famous Disney character responds: "F-- you!" "This is simply another incident where Disney has signed their work with an obscenity," Wildmon said. "The best thing parents can do is to stay away from Disney products." Wildmon said the use of the "F word" in the Donald Duck cartoon is only the latest in a growing list of anti-family incidents by the company that has long been a stalwart of family entertainment - yet has from its very earliest films promoted witchcraft and the occult while steering clear of anything Christian. Homosexual activists are promoting The Sixth Annual Gay and Lesbian Day at Walt Disney World with a home page on the Internet. On the Internet, the event has its own World Wide Web site which features a cartoon of a homosexual Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck holding hands. Mickey is saying, "...it's so nice to spend the day with family." Daisy Duck and Minnie Mouse are shown exchanging a loving glance. In addition to a schedulef events, travel arrangements and a history of Gay and Lesbian Day at Disney, the web site features an ad for American Airlines, named as the event's "Official Airline," and Avis Rent-A-Car.
As I just recommended in an article in Christian Crusade Newspaper, "It's time to say 'No' to TV, to violent video games. And, as much as we never thought we would ever have to say it - it's time to say 'No' to Donald Duck. Disney is no longer trustworthy. We can no longer entrust the Walt Disney Company with our beloved kids." Here in America, the insidious attack of such evil continues. I have never seen such viciousness. They are desperate to force their wicked agenda onto America - despite the clear wishes of Americans. The Liberals do not care about the wishes of the American majority. The Liberals think they know more than you or me. So, they are going to "liberate" us whether we like it or not. The children's video Pocahantas is a clear warning of what is to come, my friends. History tells us that the daughter of native American Powhatan was one of the first Christian converts at Jamestown, Virginia. Yet, in the Disney version, she is as New Age pagan as possible, communing with the spirits of the rocks, trees and streams - and converts Captain John Smith over to her way of thinking. Now, in the Disney version of The Huchback of Notre Dame, expect the worst. The villains are Christian clergymen. The hunchback hides from them, taking companionship from the demonic gargoyles atop Paris' Notre Dame cathedral - who come to life to give him advice. This is not 101 Dalmations nor Lady and the Tramp! This is New Age
propaganda with a clear and evil agenda. Disney has the trust of millions of American
parents - and the attention of millions of American children, whose schools are prohibited
from telling anything about the love of God or the Bible's stern commandements about
dabbling in the occult, making friends of demons or accepting the help of "good Let me know what you think. I will look for your letter tomorrow. I will keep watching for it. Dr. Billy James Hargis |
