This is a picture of my girls trying on their new holiday finery.

These pictures are what happened to the picture above after playing around with Adobe Photoshop for a while.

These two pictures show what usually happens while I'm on the computer; my cats lounge on my bed. In the first one they are annoyed because I disturbed them by picking up my camera. In the second one they've lost interest in the camera and have gone back to sleep.

These next two show their favorite poses. The first is Peanut in her "I'm too cute to stand up" pose. The second is Phoebe in her ever so dignified Sphinx pose.

This next picture shows one of Peanut's unusual rituals. As soon as I get up in the morning, she races me to the bathroom and then sits in the tub impatiently meowing at me until I get in the shower. She will stay in the tub until just a few minutes after I turn on the water, then she will sit on the edge of the tub and watch until I'm finished showering.

These five pictures show a time lapse version of one of Peanut's other rituals. As soon as I bring my laundry basket with clean warm clothes in it and set it down, she climbs on top of the laundry. As you can see from the progression of photos, she stays in pretty much the same place the whole time while I pull clothes out from under her to fold. When it's all over, she looks rather triumphant sitting in the empty basket. She has won the game yet again.

This is both my girls looking very confused. As you can see, they never venture beyond the threshold of the front door even if it's wide open and I'm standing a few feet away calling their names.

This is Phoebe being even more confused because I have picked her up and brought her outside. I tried to get a similar picture with Peanut or both of them together but Peanut freaked out and ran back in the house.
