I was always proud to be a Marine.  I knew we were the best!  I learned a lot about honor, courage and I could accomplish anything I wanted to do.

After Marine Corps duty I finished my high school education and got a B.S. in education and police science.

I Taught School in Alaska and Nevada for 24 years.  I taught grades 3-8th and special education.  I also worked as a State Trooper and Crime Scene Investigator in Alaska and Vegas.

I raised seven children.  I also have five grandchildren with two on the way.

I retired from teaching in 2000 and work partime as a carpenter.  My wife and I enjoy trqaveling, plus I love to fish and hunt.

If you ever get to Vegas call me, you are always welcome to stay with us.

I will always remember the three months we spend on the grinder at MCRD as some of the best and worst months of my life, but most of all I will remember some boys who became men.
