After Boot, went to Okinawa to Camp Naha, shortly
thereafter transferring to the AirWing at Camp Futima. Transferring to Cherry Point, re-inlisted
after 3 years, injured destroying ankle and back due to fall during training
and was medically retired in 1965.
Loved Okinawa, wanted to go back. Loved the Marine Corps and wanted to complete
career. After release from hospital,
entered Law Enforcement where I retired after 15 years, whereas, I served as
President of Louisiana Forgery Investigators Association (LAFIA) and President
of the Louisiana Division of the International Association for Identification
(LA/IAI). I then went to Houston working
in the Oilfield and which I am still employed as a Construction Superintendent
