I designed these cards for Rachael Innes' Carved
Deck of Cards project.
Albert Einstein was born for Linda Berman's Einstein
2 art exchange.
He is Peter Esterhazy, Hungarian writer. Several of his
novels were published in English as well.
Geza Ottlik. Hungarian writer. 'Old man in a jacket' (Esterhazy).
I claim there is no other way to write than his. Ottlik's most famous
novel (School At The Frontier) was available in English; however it is
almost impossible to come across it nowadays. (It was published in 1966.)
A strange mermaid. I adored its double-tail and extremely
feminine tummy. So I carved her.
I am attracted to the Art Nouveau era for some mysterious reasons. This
lady is the evidence of this innocent attraction.
