English-Hungarian Artists' Dictionary
- collaborative project of the Carving Consortium, 1998-99 -

A page from an existing English-Hungarian Dictionary was sent to each collaborating artist. They chose a dictionary entry from the page and illustrated it in any form. The reason for the multiple letters is the large number of the participants. However, there are missing letters as well: these are the pages I have never gotten, in spite of my multiple inquiry and almost unforgivable waiting period.

The result is unbelievably intriguing: you can meet totally different approaches, attitudes, ideas and principles as you are turning the pages: The Collaborative Brain of Almost 30 Artists.

These images are used with permission of their creators who hold their individual copyrights. These images may not be used in any manner without permission of the artists.
