The Jeremy Northam Theatre - This site has everything a JN fan needs! A discussion board, chat room (where you will frequently find me under the my initials, "CK"), sound clips, video, pictures, THE WORKS!!!

The Jeremy Northam Web Site - This site covers his theatre work in the UK as well as his film career. It is very slick with many wonderful photos.

bj's site - This is a fun site dedicated to Jeremy with lots of off beat facts you can't find elsewhere. (It also houses a copy of a letter I received a couple of days after my birthday last year or you can see it here.)

The Internet Bookshop in London sells five audiobooks from Penguin UK where Jeremy Northam, Nathaniel Parker, Stella Gonet, Haydn Gwynne, David Horovitch, and Alex Jennings read poetry written by John Donne, John Keats, Percy Bysshe Shelley, William Wordsworth, or William Blake. On the Wordsworth tape, Jeremy serves as narrator and does not read poetry. On the others, he switches off the duty of reading poetry with the other actors. You can access these books by searching under the author name of "Jeremy Northam." My personal recommendation out of the offerings is the John Donne tape.

The audiobook Emma, made by Reed Audio, where Jeremy reads the book can be purchased through the Internet Talking Bookshop in England or it can be special ordered through Bookserve in Tennessee. This is a MUST HAVE for all Northam fans. A little warning about Bookserve though, they are SLOW getting the book because they must wait until they get a sufficient amount of orders to order from the UK before they place the special order. The audiobook is incredible though and well worth the wait.

About ten years ago, Jeremy took part in a television miniseries that was shown on Masterpiece Theatre in the U.S. several years ago. A Piece of Cake can be purchased from Reel here in the U.S. I single this work out, not because it is his best, but only because it is hard to find. You might also want to pop down to your local library to find out if they have it available.

And if you haven't seen his movies, I'd recommend:

Emma, where he plays the dashing Mr. Knightley; The Winslow Boy, where he plays the brilliant barrister, Sir Robert Morton; Mimic, where he plays the brainy Dr. Peter Mann; Amistad, where he has a small role as Judge Bertrand Coglin (not a very big role, but an amazing film); and A Fatal Inversion, where you see A LOT of him as Dr. Rufus Fletcher.
