Opiate Was Tool's first full length album. There were 6 songs on the CD and one hidden track. The song Opiate was well liked, but taken the wrong way. Here's what Adam Jones had to say about it:

Undertow (1993)

Undertow was Tool's second offering. Apart from gaining Justin Chancellor, the band's maturity is evident in there second full length album. Sober developed a semi-cult following with former junkies and the video for Prison Sex scared the sh-t out of everyone who saw it. This is my personal favourite Tool album.

Sober (late 1994)

Just after the release of Undertow, Tool released the sober single. Despite the fact that the song was forced to have a radio edit, people still loved it. The song is explained by Adam Jones (Tool Guitarist):

Prison Sex (1996)

Tool also released another single from the Undertow album. The Prison Sex single also had a dramatic effect on all listeners. The song brings up the issue of childhood sexual molestation and was perceived as a perverse song. The truth being that it was to heighten awareness of child molestation.

ÆNIMA (1996)

In 1996 Tool released their most prolific disc- ÆNIMA. In interviews the members of the band basically said that the disc's main theme was the end of the world, and what it had to do with them personally and mentally. It is not a morbid look at the future, but an insight into the unknown.
