Click here May 10/99 Tool drummer Danny Carey, Little Feat bassist Kenny Gradney, and actors Alan Thicke ("Growing Pains") and Thomas Calabro ("Melrose Place") played in a charity golf tournament Monday (May 3) in Tarzana, Calif. The event raised an estimated $125,000 for City of Hope, a charity that fights cancer and other life-threatening diseases, according to a spokesperson at the organization. New Album 2000? 6/3/99 According to MTV The band's management told MTV News that the band hopes to have its new material recorded by the end of this year and plans to have the still-untitled album in stores in early 2000. April Fools 3/3/99 Yeah well the Tool demo songs was a big April Fools joke by T.D.N, funny. Anyway, no one is to sure if Tool is in Jail either that could be a joke by the official website we will just have to wait and see. Tool Demos 1/3/99 I have just learned that their are two MP3's ofTool demo songs floating around the net. They are called "Floorpail" and "Anagram" I don't know where you can get them from, but if anyone knows please let me know. Tool in Jail? 29/3/99 The big news everyone is taklking about is according to the official website one of the Tool members is in Jail on criminal charges. Acoording to the official site they are not going to say who or why. If anyone has anymore information please let me know. Two New Songs 10/2/99 It seems Tool have been busy over the past month according to Tool's manager Ted Gardner Tool have written 2 songs since they settled the 2 year lawsuit against their label last year, and current plans call for the group to enter a studio within the next few months to begin recording the still untitled new album. Gardner said "Everything is done in pre-production with this band," "They won't hit the studio until everything is arranged and ready. Once they hit the studio, they'll go in for a month and record right through." Gardner also said it was possible the band would hit the road for selected dates in the fall if the album's recording is progressing as planned. |
