This matchbox labels collection is a many years work of my grandfather - Arkhipov Nikolay Petrovich. He has been collecting labels since ~1950 till 1960.  He'd spent many years to make this collection, and now, as i putting this collection onto the NET,  my main aim is to create a good memories about him.

Maybe someone of older phillumenists remember him. He'd been swapping labels with many people all over the world. He also was a member of a many phillumenist communities. If someone remembers him please let me know.

I inherit this collection after the death of my grandfather and may be this site is not fits the phillumenist canon, but i'm not a specialist.

Collection consits of labels of such countries as England, Austria, Belgium, Hungary, GDR, HongKong, Holland, West Germany, India, Italy, China, Taiwan, Makao, USA, Poland, CzechoSlovakia, Sweden, Bulgary, Iran, Spain, Portugal, Finland, France, Switzerland, Yougoslavia, Japan.

Collection of foreign countries labels numbers  ~58.000.

Also i have a huge collection of Soviet Union Labels of differrent matchmaking fabrics. This collection numbers ~145.000 labels.

Of course, you understand that not all the labels are different. There are many duplicates.

If someone of true phillumenist wants to buy something from collection please let me know. The only condition is to let me leave the labels images on the net on this site of my grandfather.
