These photos from Northern Ky, and possibly the Cincinnati area, were sent to the KGS in Summer 98 from a lady in Georgia. These were photos that belonged to a great aunt of hers who had passed away recently in a nursing home in Tenn or Georgia.
The great aunt had been married a fellow by the name of Hams who was from Northern Ky. They lived there, and she was probably a teacher. They supposedly had no children of their own. I need to find the original correspondence so I can put more details here. In the meantime, if anyone recognizes anything in these images, please send me an e-mail at bdharney2@aol.com

A few of these images are huge, but I didnt want to lose any clarity in them.

This first set of photos had names on them. In some cases, I scanned the writing that was on the back of the photo.
Christmon? or Christman?

This one, no name on it, except the studio. However, I believe it's Alsey Lee Hams and his wife, perhaps this great aunt mentioned above. Compare it to the previous photo.

Gulley? not sure of spelling.

Can't read the first name on this photo. Tex? Lex? Tel?
Note this photo was apparently taken at the same time as the previous photo.

Some of these may be relatives of the Hams Family, not sure.

Although you cant see it here, the number on the door is something like 3172. Where is White Oak?

The certificate on the wall says, "Union Shoe Repair Shop" and under that it says, "1920". VanLooy,FrankShoeShop2.jpg

The stone this boy is standing by says Van Looy. The death date is 1912, and to the left of that is 88, which I assume is the birth year of 1888.

Although there was no name on this photo, this looks like the same boy in the previous photo, in the cemetery.

What relationship did the Hedrick and Brink families have with the Hams Families, if any?
