Love Over Comes

We must let down our guard and begin to live,
To each other our hearts, we must freely give.

Be willing with each other, our all, to share,
Though our past has taught us to beware.

This addiction to each other, we both really hate.
Yet, we rush to each other, not wanting to wait.

The highs, the lows, to the end with devotion,
Who needs this turmoil of emotion?

We fear these emotions that we feel for each other,
And are amazed at the love that binds us one to another.

Relationships like ours,  never go out of fashion.
Our love only heightens with this intense passion.

As night closes in, I feel your love all around.
After all this time, real love has been found.
