A poem about Recognition
by Michael Lee-Price
They met by chance ~ as fate decreed,
The Stallion and the Fawn.
They were different in all degrees,
Like evening is to morn.
~*~
Long ago, another time,
Their twin souls met as one.
Recognition they would find,
What GOD decrees, is done
~*~
A deer and horse in loves caress,
Galloped beneath GOD?s skies.
If Kismet had wished their love success,
It would bless their knowing eyes.
~*~
No matter how different they did look,
Their hearts once beat as ONE.
It had been written in Fate?s book,
That their LOVE again, would come.
~*~
The Stallion saw in the Fawn?s eyes,
What he knew to be the truth.
This deer he would never compromise,
O?How could he show proof?
~*~
"I shall leave you deer,
But know you this - I will always be your love.
If you need me I will be ever near,
So, trust in HIM above."
~*~
"He will bring us close once again ..."
He said as he galloped away.
"I can not say really when ...
Yet, I will love you come what may."
~*~
They met by chance ~ as fate decreed,
The Stallion and the Fawn.
They were different in all degrees,
Like evening is to morn.
~*~
Long ago, another time,
Their twin souls met as one.
Recognition they would find,
What GOD decrees, is done
