The Roper- Salvaggio Duo Marilyn Roper, baroque flute, recorders Salvatore Salvaggio, lutes, early guitar. The Roper/Salvaggio duo specialize in historical performance practice.Their repertory covers works from the 16th through the 19th centuries.They have performed in numerous venues and cater the music to each event from a potpourri of styles to a focus on a theme or individual period.Clickto listen to a German Allemande

A multi-instrumental trio specializing in a wide variety of styles and instrumetal combinations. They play historic reproductions of authentic instruments such as the lute, recorders and crumhorn as well as an eclectic mix of turn of the century band instruments.
The trio may change the instrumentation several times during each selection.
One of the highlights of their program is late 19th century Italian theater music.
The trio consists of Salvatore Salvaggio, lutes, guitars and banjo,Rene Prins, bagpipe, clarinets, saxes,oboe and occarina and Marilyn Roper on flutes, recorders and brass instruments.

The Salvaggio-Raphaelson Guitar Duo






Sal Salvaggio and Dave Raphaelson have been
performing together for over 20 years. In addition to performing on modern guitars, they have played and recorded on original 19th century instruments.



CD: Moonlight Reverie played by Mr Raphaelson on an 1840's Martin and Coupa guitar featuring Mr. Salvaggio on duets by Antonio Lopes performing on a late 19th century Bay State guitar.
