his page was made by Ruben Koman (April 29, 1979 in Dordrecht, the Netherlands).
After highschool I went to the Hague. I'm now studying there
IDM (Information Science & Management)
at the Haagse Hogeschool.
One of my first projects, concerning 'Knowledge Management', you can see at the
Kennismanagement Homepage,
which I made with some of my IDM-colleagues (project finished on January 7, 1999).
At the end of 1996 I met Simona Poenar. She was born in Petrosani in the county
Hunedoara in Romania, and now she studies at the
University of Petrosani. Simona became a very good friend. That's the reason why I became interested in Romania,
and in particularly Petrosani.
In August 1999 I visited Petrosani for the first time. After collecting a lot of information, I decided to make these pages.
I'm also known as 'Rups', which means 'Caterpillar' in English. It has absolutely no meaning, but it's just a funny nickname.
