This Medical Student and M.D. WebRing was set up in June 1999 at WebRing.org as an option when the manager of the original Medical Students and M.D. Ring announced that he would no longer maintain that list. WebRing.org is part of GeoCities, which merged with Yahoo! during 1999. In October 2001, WebRing left Yahoo! to return to being a separate entity.
