Cassandra Dainar, Sitter of the Brown Ajah, Assistant Mistress of Novices, is Bonded to Cal Al'Bekkar and is a BladeMistress. She was born and raised in a village north of Jehannah in Ghealdan. She was in a riding accident while in the woods and suffered amnesia. She wandered through villages, singing and playing music in taverns for her food until she started having dreams that kept telling her to go to the White Tower. She finally followed her dreams and became a Novice. Eventually, she regained most of her lost memory through her Arches, where she learned her true name. Various excursions to Ghealdan helped this memory recall, once she became a full Sister. She learned that her mother was once a sister of the Yellow Ajah and her father was her warder. Cassie has been in the tower for quite some time and her talents are Dreaming and Cloud Dancing. |
David Gaistin Aes Sedai, Assistant Sitter Brown Ajah, was born in Andor. Early in his life, his family moved to Amadicia. His father - a title David hesitates to give to the man who sired him - soon became involved with the Whitecloaks, and David's mother supported her husband wholeheartedly. That was her last mistake. There was a raid at the house, led by David's father. The Whitecloaks claimed that his mother was a Darkfriend; his own father put the noose around her neck and ordered her execution. It wasn't long after, about the time of David's thirteenth year, that David discovered that he could channel. With Whitecloaks all around, he could hardly stay in Amadicia, as channeling is against the law, and a male channeling is even worse. David quickly left, and soon found himself at the mercy of the world, being without money, or means of getting where he needed to go - if only he could figure out where that place was. Somehow, he eventually made his way to Tar Valon, figuring that if the Whitecloaks opposed it, and knowing how they felt about things, that it couldn't be that bad. For some reason, he found myself at the gates to the White Tower itself, and the rest, as one could say, is history. Fire and Earth are David's strongest elements, being weaker in Water and Air. His main talent is the creation of ter'angreal, and the unraveling of other ter'angreal, i.e., he can quickly deduce how they are made and for what purpose they are to be used. |
A tall redhead with green-grey eyes, Kadija Landyre is of the Brown Ajah. Her birthplace is unknown, and when questioned on her origins, she merely smiles and turns the conversation elsewhere. Talented in Concealment and Illusion, her strongest elements are Fire and Air. Kadija has been a member of the White Tower for many years. She chose the Brown Ajah because to her, knowledge translates into power. Away from the Tower for approximately 8 months, Kadija learned during that time that knives and a sharp wit are also valuable tools to have in one's arsenal. A little known fact is that she has, as part of this arsenal, a mirror that lets one see the future. |
Lisa Sedai comes from the Three-Fold Land, and as such bears fair skin, red hair, and golden eyes. She is just under six feet tall and can handle a spear quite well--a skill that comes in handy when one has no Warder. After coming to the White Tower, she trained and became an Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah. Lisa's favorite subjects of study are wolves and Shadowspawn, and as a result of this she spent much of her time abroad. While on such a study trip, Lisa discovered that she could talk to wolves. Because so much has been said concerning the possible status of wolfkin as Shadowspawn, she decided to keep her distance from civilization while she got a handle on her newfound nature. Having decided that she is not a threat to her colleagues, the Brown Sister has recently returned to the Tower in order to share her knowledge with the Aes Sedai there. |
