Manga
This story
is based on the manga of the same name that has run in Ribon
Magazine since February 1998, by Tanemura Arina. If you're interested
in the original manga, a synopsis
and info page is here(beware, it is full of spoilers).
I'm not sure how true the anime will be to the manga, but I would bet they'll
stay pretty close.
