| Sakai Shizuma (main
character): he is a friend of Kashiwaba's, and visits him at
his dojo in Kyouto. He looks like a young swordsman but has never
used a real katana, only wooden practice swords. However, he is extremely
strong. His father died when he was really young trying to stop a
fight between a samurai and (I think) a peasant.
Miyamoto Iori (love
interest): She is one of the dojo's teachers, and uses two swords,
a katana and a wakizashi(short sword). She doesn't really respect
Shizuma, but admits that he's strong.
Kashiwaba Toujuurou:
an old friend of Shizuma's parents, he owns a dojo where ronin train in
Kyouto. He summons Shizuma to Kyouto to help them in the battle.
Mukawa Gennosuke:
a student of the dojo
Arisaka Tomoe:
a student of the dojo
Silver-haired person:
the person who has been killing people in Kyouto, he(she?) has long silver
