In some recent e-mails, I've been getting people assuming that I am going to implement something in the shipset. That I actually won't.
This section is to show those people what we are doing and implementing. If however, you have a good idea that would help us quite a bit, e-mail it over. So this is just a big list basically of we are doing. And it's not just implementation either,, I've got some other plans in here too =)


The Planet/Atmosphere Implementation 
The new hoth surface is probably the most complex OPT there is. It has way over 1000 faces and has photo realitic textures. However it is quite massive. Our sky used to be junk. Then recently we took ACE, made a sphere, Then made the textures face inward. Gave it waypoints to circle around forever and it worked.We had a perfect sky that rotated! Special thanks to Tony for the idea on the final sky.

 
 Snowspeeder Harpoon Implementation
This was at first a big probelm, I wanted this to be put in the shipset pretty much the most since that is what made fighting in the battle of Hoth so great! I came up with a decent idea that would work probably better than any other. First I took Jedi Hunter's Harpoon OPT and replaced the flare OPT. I then inserted an invisible ship at one of the legs of the walker. The invisible ship has a small area of hardpoints and it was reconized as a fighter because it was in a fighter slot. Then I flew 'round the legs of the walker, shooting flares as I went....now there's only one thing to do, and that is to make the flares go rapid fire so they would look like they were going in a line, and as you kept pressing your counter measure key, the flares would just pump out, which at that time looked like harpoons. I then surround around the legs some probe droids and Snowtroopers to stand around and shoot if the player was not going around the legs instead of just going at 0 throttle and firing away. There you have it! The long explanation of the harpoon!

Now, as everyone knows, Snowspeeders are land huggers and not spacecraft. They can't fly up to huge hights and definetly not into space. So firstly, I edited the snowspeeder so it could turn real good, but when it came to going up or down, it was very unmaneaverable in that area. Secondly, I am planning to have a HUGE field of engine wash starting about 2km above the ground and up. So then if the pilot tries to go high, well, he'll die and he just won't do it again! (Unless he likes doing that) 

 
What implementation?
This? Oh no, this does'nt need much Implementation! Why, this is a plan of what I am gonna do after the first atmospheric shipset is released! With all of these things in mind, when this shipset is done and tons of people own and love it, I'm setting up a multiplayer tournament on Hoth. Melees and other things will be played on Hoth one on one. What does this prove? Well it just proves one huge advantage that the A.S.S. will have over Rouge Squadron.......multiplayer capablilities! ;-)
