I Still Cry
(For all the boys who never made it)

I saw you yesterday and it was your last
It swept as it came and no one was as fast
Young boys dreaming on a shade too vast to grasp
And you thought it was your only spell to cast
Now it's the story of the past

Gleaming with pride you fought to be a part
But they were sadness in a mist and you thought
it was their fist.
And soon you came to be a part.
As if the short way was your past

If only they'd seen your heart and stayed away
Maybe a different story would have come to play
But life is a dream and you were caught in its bream
And you sought the hardest way, making a part
with your demons

Now an old record plays your name as a
new rhythm made its way.
I thought you knew they'd fall apart, but you
fell in a garth.
And when I heard, you had become a memory
of the past.
Now everyone calls your name.

Welcome to the Poetry Zone. This year I've had an old epiphany resurface: writing survives the witherings of time. I enjoy reading novels that deal with identity, social paralysis and individual degredations. I have now decided to change the whole scope of this website. I plan to place a poem on the front page every month and I'll be adding a new column called REFLECTION, which will deal with thoughful journals and essays on life and its nominal essence. I plan to base this website on interaction with the viewers. From now on, there will be forms where you can write poems and essays or feedbacks and you can have it critiqued by me and other web surfers. Your participation is extremely crucial in this day and age when literature is waning in our society. So please look below to add your creative talents--remember that it is when least expected that ingenuity prevails. Also don't forget to sign my guestbook so that I know you were here.

Reflections-- read an ongoing essay and journal collections that I've compiled.
