commercial center town of Toraja )

Rantepao is the second town after
Makale in Toraja. It is the commercial center . The advantage
of Rantepao is that most of the
interesting places are in the radius of about 15 kilometres from the
town. During the market day which
is opened once a week. People are coming from all over Toraja
Land to sell and buy
their stuff. It is a very interesting to see especially the live
stuff Market
The luxury , standard and budget hotels,
super market, souvenir shops, restaurants, banks, money changers and public
bus company are mostly found in this small town which populated about
150.000 people.
