Biography:
In "The Madball Pitcher"? Barks shows that Gyro was born on the Northside of Duckburg, and in Gyro's First Invention Don Rosa shows that Gyro took over his father's workshop in 1952. Shortly after he was "headhunted" by Donald Duck to help Uncle $crooge getting his money back from a hole underneath the Money Bin after the McDuck-disaster (seen in the Barks classic: A Christmas For Shacktown). During this prosess he creates Little Helper to help him reach the money through the badger's hole.
