love making things with Micrografx Picture Publisher 8.
which led me on this new "kick" i am on lately. and that is making backgrounds. but not just any backgrounds. UGLY backgrounds! ha ha! when the idea popped into my head to start making them, i also decided that i would give them funky, weird, unusual names. the names in most cases have nothing to do with the colors of the backgrounds or designs. more likely the names have to do with things my friends have said in chat, or perhaps music i listen to, song lyrics and such. and i have even asked people i am close to for suggestions on names. *G*
and oooohhhhh those people were ever so helpful! :-)
when i started putting the pages together... so far i have 17 pages with approximately 24 to 26 thumbnails on each page that you can click on and view the full page look of the background. hey some of them aren't even all that ugly. *G* i only know that i really enjoy making them and sometimes saying ewwwwwww myself as i laugh maniacally and assign a name to it! so feel free to browse thru and if you want to use them that is cool with me. just please right click and hit "save background as" and save it to your own harddrive. please don't link the backgrounds to your pages. *S* maybe you could send me an email and let me know which one you used and where i can go to have a look. c'mon... it would make me proud! i would appreciate a link back to my page here but i don't require one. i would just like to see which ones you might have chosen.
one more thing... if you find something particularly ugly or even if you like it... go ahead and email me or sign the guestbook and let me know! i welcome all your comments and if you have any name suggestions or find the names offensive (not that i would change them! ha ha!) ... let me know that too! *LOL* i can always use more inspiration. :-)
now on to the fun (keep sunglasses nearby just in case)
