ROCKRIDGE, THE PRIMARY CITY

MAIN STREET
All of the large brick colored tructures were scratch built using plaster and wall molds
The concrete streets were made using Durham Water putty. The sidewalks were made similar to real sidewalks. 1/8 square wood forms were made and thinned plaster was poured into the sidewalk molds
Expansion joint lines were scribed in with a dull Xacto knife. All concrete items was then painted using Floquil Concrete paint, weathered with black chalk dust and sprayed with Dullcote to seal chalk into position

ROCKRIDGE STRUCTURES
The Sassan Vinegar Plant is a wood kit. The grain elevator tubes were made using PCV piping. The pump house on top was scratch built using wood clapboard siding and scale wood. A Walthers background flour mill was used due to lack of space
The Ice House & Platform was scratch built from wood, as well as the switchman's shanty
All fences are Central Valley fencing and the small abandoned gas station is a Woodland Scenics metal kit. Back in 1950, my father once owned a Mobil Gas station that looked very much like this
