Here is what Christmas time means to me.
City sidewalk, busy sidewalks
dressed in holiday style.

映画の主題曲からスタンダード・ナンバーとなった曲がいくつかあります。例えば「Holyday Inn」の■「ホワイト・クリスマス」、「Meet Me In St.Louise」の■「Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas」。このシルバー・ベルも同様で、1950年制作のパラマウント映画「The Lemon Drop Kid」の主題曲でした。映画はダフ屋とギャングが登場するコメディ・タッチの映画で、1934年の同名映画のリメイクだそうです。オリジナルでは映画で共演したボブ・ホープ(Bob Hope)とマリリン・マクスウエル(Marilyn Maxwell)の二人によって歌われています。
