Mikhailovsky Palace (1819-1825) named after its first owner, the Great Prince Mikhail Pavlovich Romanov, |

Mikhailovsky Castle (1797-1801) named in honour of Archangel Michael, the patron of Romanovs, |

Marble Palace (1765-1785), which was built as à present of Catherine the Great to her favourite Grigory Orlov, |
 |
Stroganovsky Palace (1738-1743) named after the earl Stroganoff family. |
