You are the product of your mind.
In your mind there are many differing influences that tell you what to do. These influences blend together to give the final result, usually the dominant influence wins over. Every action (internal or external) occurs because of this. Thus - if there was a to make the more positive influences stronger or a way to create new influences you could have much more control of yourself than you probably currently imagine is possible.
Well these influences are there as the result of all the thoughts you’ve had in the past and that you are having in every moment. The more often you think something or the more powerfully you think it, the stronger the influence will be.
You can be anyone. You have as much potential as everybody else, it is only your thought patterns which dictate who you are and how successful you are. Think about it, your body is basically the same as everybody else’s, you can achieve anything any one has ever achieved if you have the right frame of mind. Imagine what your life is going to be like in a few years time now that you can be totally in control of every thing about you. Inside every one of us is a creative genius, a fantastic athlete, a beautiful humanitarian, and an intellectual genius. It is up to our thoughts as to how we reveal these aspects of ourselves.
So how do we go about making these good influences in our minds the ones that win over? The more often you think something the more powerful it will be. So we choose an aspect of our selves that we wish to create or make stronger, and we think about it often and in a way that is powerful. There are many techniques that you can use to do this effectively, so here are a few pointers.
1. The subconscious accepts things as it experiences them, so for the most powerful impact - imagine that this new aspect is already true.
2. We are trying to make this influence as dominant as possible so it is best to create as many different types of this influence as possible.
Eg. See it, feel it, think about the benefits, say it, act it, confirm it is a part of you. Put it in your mind in any way (and as many ways) you know how to.
3. Be positive - that is - see what it is you want, rather than what it is you don’t want. Eg. ‘I am happy’ - not ‘I am not sad.’
4. Repetition gives the thought pattern power, so it is a good idea to write the new thought somewhere you will see it regularly - at least twice a day, and make a commitment to spend a minute on it each time you see it.
(2 minutes out of 86400 each day is relatively nothing, but it makes a HUGE difference)
5. It is a good idea not to have more than 10 new behaviours at a time.
6. Get excited - you can create your self in to any one. That could mean always feeling good, being ultra successful, being full of ideas, being popular, being super fit, an excellent musician, a super fast learner. Take your pick.
