The Sun has launched the careers of many a babe over the last 30 years.
While the likes of Jilly Johnson, Sam Fox and Kathy Lloyd have represented
their own eras - swinging sixties, nihilistic Seventies, the Thatcher dominated
Eighties, few babes have ever a) come from Birmingham and b) made such an
impact worldwide as Tara O'Connor.
From her first appearance, the brunnette 'stunna' fast became a firm favourite,
not least because she looked like she had a brain and was not the sort of girl to
seek silicone to enhance her already jaw dropping figure.
It wasn't long before America came calling and Tara walked off with a modest Playboy
contract and Perfect 10's favourite model of the year.
